Version 0.9.2 and 0.9.3 released

This primarily introduces some new UI and settings to deal with length units. Internally Paragraphic uses an arbitrary length unit with can be exported as pixels or mm for physical size formats interchangeably. This is still true, however, now you can choose to instead see and edit values in other units, like points, inches or centimeters if you’re more used to that. You can also mix and match and use for example millimeters for general length values, but points for font sizes or line widths.

Not the most exciting feature perhaps, but requested by a lot of users and affecting a lot of parts of the interface so it has been quite a big job to add. With that said it probably means there are still some parameters or fields somewhere that don’t get the right units yet. If you find anything like that, please do report this along with any other bugs so they can be fixed in the next update.

In addition to the units the update contains another batch of bugfixes and smaller improvements that will hopefully make Paragraphic easier to work with, regardless of what you do with it.

This update will also be the first test to see if the new integrated update download system introduced in 0.9.1 works to download this new version.

Changes and improvements
– Display length units on length value parameters.
– Add new settings for when units to use for general length values, stroke line widths, font sizes and artboard sizes.
– Slightly changes how selecting units in the export dialogue works to show the same length in the different physical size units.

Bug fixes
– Fix crash/freeze on using some menu item shortcuts while a native file picker dialogue is open.
– Fix toolbar selection description not updating when a selected layer is deleted.
– Fix some issues using certain tool combinations after deleting layers.
– Fix some menu items being incorrectly enabled when they should not be.
– Fix glitchy appearance of splash screen when initially loading window on macOS.
– Fix native Layer menu not updating correctly when switching between multiple documents on macOS.
– Fix reorder layer to top/bottom not working if it would move the layer only one step.

You can check for updates and download the latest version from within Paragraphic if you have it installed, or you download it from paragraphic.design

EDIT: This update was then quickly followed by a hotfix update 0.9.3 that fixed a crash when adding some nodes to layers using the Add node button in the inspector panel.
